FIRST FOOT GUARDS EVENTS, 2015
We invite you to come to our events, see what we do, and consider joining the Guards. All events are open to the public and are free except Old Sturbridge Village, Fort Ticonderoga, Colonial Williamsburg and Fort at Number 4 where there is a nominal admission fee. All events are subject to change due to weather or other cicumstances, so before attending an event, always check the event host's web site for the latest information. Most of these events repeat every year and there are photos and videos of many of them on our Photos and Videos pages.
Sat, April 11, 2015, Dress rehearsal for the battle on Lexington Green for the Patriots Day reenactment, 2-3:30pm (units arrive 1pm). Rain date Sunday, April 12, 2015 at 2pm. Battle Green, Lexington center.
Sat, April 18, 2015, Battle Road: Returning to LexingtonMinute Man National Historic Park, Battle Road Trail behind Minute Man Visitor Center, Rte. 2A, Lexington MA, 2pm. Hundreds of British and Colonial reenactors will engage in a tactical weapons demonstration showing the running battle that took place along this deadly stretch of road as the British column marched back to Lexington.

Mon, April 20, 2015, Commemoration of the Battle at North Bridge, Minute Man National Historical Park, Monument St., Concord, 8am, followed by a Mourn Arms ceremony at the British graves at the North Bridge, 8:30am.

Sun, April 26, 2015, Revolutionary Graves Ceremony, Lincoln, MA, 2:30pm. March from Pierce House, 17 Weston Rd., along Old Lexington Rd. to a ceremony at the old Town Cemetery and back.
Sat-Sun, May 2-3, 2015, Mount Vernon Encampment and Skirmish, 3200 Mount Vernon Memorial Hwy., Mount Vernon, VA. Opposing forces tacticals both days. Period weapons and replica of Washington’s campaign tent on display.
Sat-Sun, May 30-31, 2015, Bunker Hill 240th Anniversary Re-enactment, Harvey Farm, 105 Nottingham Square Rd., Epping, NH. Saturday: artillery barrages and trench digging in the morning, bloody assaults in the afternoon. Sunday: counterattack by Colonial forces in an attempt to retake the Charlestown peninsula. Directions: 3 miles north of the Rt. 101 & Rt 125 intersection at Epping, NH (exit 7 on Rt. 101).
Sat-Sun, June 6-7, 2015, Rebels and Redcoats Weekend, Old Fort Niagara, Fort Niagara State Park, 4 Scott Avenue, Youngstown, NY. 10am-4pm, $12/adults, $8/children. Hundreds of reenactors, battle demonstrations, 18th century camps and living history programs.

Sat, July 4, 2015, Hingham July 4th Parade, Hingham, MA, 10am step-off from Hingham High School on Pleasant Street and ending around 11am at Station Street. See web site below for parade route and parking.

Sat-Sun, Aug 1-2, 2015, Old Sturbridge Village encampment, Sturbridge, MA, Sat 9am-8pm, Sun 9am-4pm. Large scale reenactment, many units, including artillery, and large battles both days with 800 to 1000 reenactors.
Sat-Sun, Sept 12-13, 2015, Fort Ticonderoga encampment, Ticonderoga, NY. Brown's Raid on Fort Ticonderoga in 1777. Large scale reenactment at reconstructed stone fortress on beautiful grounds overlooking Lake Champlain.
Sat-Sun, Sept 19-20, 2015, Fort at Number 4, 267 Springfield Rd (Rte 11), Charlestown (formerly township Number 4), NH. Large encampment at a large authentically restored wooden fort and settlement on the Connecticut River. Battles both days.
Sat-Sun, Oct 17-18, 2015, Burning of Kingston, Kingston, NY. Large public battles both afternoons, morning tacticals, patrols.
Sat, Oct 31, 2015, Battle of The Red Horse Tavern, Wayside Inn, Sudbury MA. A day of military activities and battle re-enactments on the grounds of the historic Wayside Inn.
