Elon Musk’s Ex Ashley St. Clair Reveals Name of Their Baby
All roads lead to Rome.
Or, in this case, the name of one of Elon Musk’s many children does, according toThe Wall Street Journal.
Ashley St. Clair, who alleges her baby born in 2024 was fathered by the tech mogul, recently confirmed her son’s name is Romulus.
In addition to confirming the moniker—which matches that of Rome’s legendary first king and founder—St. Clair further alleged in the WSJ interview published April 15 that Musk’s staffer Jared Birchall offered her $15 million and $100,000 a month in child support in exchange for her silence about her baby.
However, St. Clair said she told Birchall, “I don’t want my son to feel like he’s a secret.”
After turning the Tesla CEO’s offer down, the 26-year-old recalled that Birchall, who the WSJ describes as Musk’s “longtime fixer,” then offered her advice. He allegedly said Musk is a “very big-hearted, kind and generous person,” however when a mother of his one of his children opts for “the legal route” it “always, always leads to a worse outcome for that woman than what it would have been otherwise.”
While Musk hasn’t publicly confirmed he’s baby Romulus’ father, the outlet reported that a recently done paternity test on Romulus stated Musk’s “probability of paternity” is 99.9999 percent.

St. Clair’s allegations about the SpaceX founder’s $15 million offer come less than one month after she said Musk—whom she has sued for sole custody of Romulus—cut back on child support by 60 percent.
She added, in response to a reporter who asked if she felt the tesla CEO was being “vindictive” towards her, “Well, that's his modus operandi, when women speak out. You can check the stocks, I'm not the only one who is cleaning up after his messes.”
Musk, however, was quick to respond to St. Clair’s claims.
“I don’t know if the child is mine or not, but am not against finding out,” the 53-year-old wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter) March 31. “No court order is needed. Despite not knowing for sure, I have given Ashley $2.5M and am sending her $500k/year.”

The arrival of Romulus marked his 13th alleged child. Five months after her baby’s birth, St. Clair addressed his paternity.
“Elon Musk is the father,” she wrote on X at the time. “I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child's privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that the tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause."
She continued, “I intend to allow our child to grow in a normal and safe environment. For that reason, I ask that the media honor our child's privacy, and refrain from invasive reporting.”
